New Mercies Ministries is a Christ-centered church made up of a body of full Gospel believers. We strive to build a culture where:

Plan Your Visit

We would love to treat you to our VIP guest experience on your first or second visit at New Mercies Ministries! Let us know you’re coming and we will have someone ready to greet you and provide a church tour upon your arrival! This experience is offered exclusively during our regular 11 AM Sunday services.

What To Expect

Kids

Pastor Chrissy leads NM Kids Sunday School during our 11 AM services complete with an engaging Biblical lesson, activity and/or craft, and a filling morning snack. We also hold additional large-scale NM Kids events throughout the year such as Vacation Bible School, involvement in the Norwood Day Parade, and Resurrection Sunday service.

Teens

NM Youth nights occur alternating Wednesdays at 6:30 PM in person at various locations, primarily the church. Youth Nights entail a Biblical lesson and mature discussion, a hearty dinner, and various activities. Students grades 6-12 and their households are always welcome. Discipleship

We strive to create disciples of Christ out of ordinary people who are ready to truly embody their Christian walk and their life’s testimony. We offer a 9-week class with Pastor Andy in person or via Zoom that dives deeper into our Christian walk and challenges us to spread the gospel during our everyday life. Worship

NM Music is a small but powerful worship team that operates under God’s anointing to bring forth an atmosphere of praise and glorification to Christ in our services. While our selection is primarily contemporary in nature, we also incorporate classic Hymns and old Southern Gospel into many of our sets.

Outreach

We believe we are called to be active participants outside the confines of our church building in our community. Each month we hold at least one special event intended to humbly serve our neighbors and get to know them more intimately. These events also bring our internal community closer while our volunteers work together towards achieving common goals.

Volunteers

At New Mercies, our Volunteer team is known as the Shinesty. Our Shinesty motto is “WE SHINE” not only as a light in the darkness, but whenever we serve in our respective areas with excellence.
