Andrew Clark is the founding pastor of New Mercies Ministries. In addition to his pastoral duties and leading discipleship studies, he also contributes his musical talent to our praise team, New Mercies Music. Pastor Andy has served the city of Norwood in many capacities, including four consecutive terms in a City Council at Large seat. He has been preaching the good word to people of all ages for more than a decade, and has experience as the featured daily speaker at a Christian youth camp and staff pastor at his previous church. Andy loves to study the word, especially in a group setting. While he has attended many Bible studies and small groups throughout his life, he says attending Men’s Discipleship Classes was instrumental in his growth as a leader. He and his wife Pastor Chrissy have two biological children, Ava Grace and Caleb Douglas. The Clarks also opened their home to foster children in 2023 and they currently have two fosters living with them. He loves spending the little spare time he has taking the whole family to Kings Island.

Chrissy says that the Kidz Matter Conference has benefitted her ministry the most, and attending Bible Study Fellowship weekly has given the biggest jolt to her personal spiritual growth. Chrissy homeschools her biological children Ava and Caleb, so you will often see them out on field trips. Chrissy also enjoys thrift store shopping with Ava and video game nights with Caleb at home. Pastor Dan is the senior pastor of Mount Holly Christian Chapel (Amelia, Ohio). MHCC provides a covering for New Mercies Ministries and is the owner of the building in which we worship. At an early age, Dan knew there was a calling on his life. After the passing of his father in 1992 he accepted that call and began music ministry outreach in 1993. This ultimately took him to Williamsburg, KY where he met a Pastor who was a great mentor to him. He went on to serve at various churches in the positions of Youth Pastor, Worship Leader, and Associate Pastor. For two years he Pastored Unity Fellowship in Felicity, Ohio. In 2006, he met Pastor Lary Goss who became another great mentor, and brought his congregation to merge with MHCC in Amelia where he began serving as Worship Leader and Associate Pastor until May 2017 when he was appointed senior Pastor of MHCC.

Through our partnership with Mt. Holly Christian Chapel, Pastor Andy has also been seated as an official associate pastor of the MHCC organization as a whole, and is considered the senior pastor of the MHCC Norwood campus. Our two congregations work together in service to our respective local communities.
Mt. Holly Christian Chapel was established in their small original building on Beechmont Avenue that still stands and houses another church body today. Currently, MHCC is located a few miles down from the original location on a 25+ acre campus which includes a house of worship, outdoor pavilion, multipurpose building, 2 parishioner’s homes, a lake, and multiple outdoorsy activity spaces such as an archery range. In its long history, MHCC has had over 47 pastors doing the work of the Lord!
